Year 6 & Reception Buddies

 

We are a village school; our small, family feel is a strength and this is further enhanced by our Buddy System.

Buddying up Year 6 children with Reception children is a truly wonderful initiative for several reasons. It not only fosters meaningful relationships but also creates a nurturing school environment that benefits both older and younger students.

  • Building Relationships: This program promotes a strong sense of community within the school. Year 6 students become role models and mentors, helping Reception children feel more connected and secure.
