Welcome to Spencer Class!

Our class is taught by Mrs Weston. TA Mrs Woodham-Davies also  supports our learning. Our classroom is light and bright with plenty of room on the walls for our interactive whiteboard, “working walls”, “learning journeys” and displays of our art work. We use the Key Stage One areas of the National Curriculum as a framework for our learning.

Our classroom is well resourced, offering a safe, exciting and inspiring environment  for pupils to develop into independent learners. Lessons are always stimulating and challenging and this ensures both high achievement and happy children and staff who look forward to coming to school. We work closely with pupils to encourage and develop their individual strengths. The children work in a supportive environment: this enables them to work collaboratively and independently. We value reading and read every chance we get; the classroom reflects this with a variety of books linked to each term’s topic.
