We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new school garden — a vibrant, purpose-built outdoor space designed by our very own pupils to support learning, well-being, and sustainability.
The project was proudly championed by our dedicated Eco Council, who led the way from initial idea to flourishing reality. After months of fundraising and planning, the children worked together to design their ideal garden. They thoughtfully considered how it could enhance their learning across the curriculum, from science and environmental studies to art and well-being.
Thanks to the incredible support of FACS (our Parent-Teacher Association), Bampton Community Shop, and a generous local business donation, the children's creative visions have been brought to life. The garden now stands as a testament to what can be achieved through collaboration, imagination, and community spirit.
Since the garden was finished, all the children have had the opportunity to grow and harvest food. The school kitchen has cooked and served the produce, we have sold salad in the village shop and classes have used some in their DT lessons.
