Our Collective Worship Monitors are a dedicated team of Year 5 pupils chosen at the beginning of each school year to support and lead our daily worship. They take pride in preparing the hall by setting up the computer and music, following the collective worship plan, and warmly greeting the school as everyone enters. Their calm, respectful manner helps create a reflective and spiritual atmosphere where all children can pause and feel a sense of peace. The monitors then allow each year group to present a special item that represents a symbol of our faith, helping to deepen understanding across the school community. The monitors also bring each act of collective worship to a close with an invitation to prayer and a thoughtful reflection.
In addition, they lead a weekly lunchtime prayer space called Peaceful Pathways, offering activities such as mindful colouring, prayer trees, bubbles, stone painting, and a quiet place for children to step away from the busy playground and find a moment of calm.
