We have strong links with St James’ Church which is next door to the school. Reverend Janice Collier, the vicar, is one of our school governors and she leads whole school collective worship once a week. We welcome our families into the church several times a year to join us in celebrating the Christian seasons and we often end our services with a retiring collection organised by our School Council.

Our annual Harvest Festival Service is an informal service where we celebrate God’s creation and think of others less fortunate than ourselves. Our Christmas service is a time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas with traditional carols as well as some newer songs along with poems and readings. We also celebrate Easter, the most important time in the Christian year, with a special service of Holy Communion in church during which the children in Year 5 support Reverend Janice in leading the worship.
